Rewatching Outlander sent me down a research rabbit hole. I was so impressed by the Native American characters that I had to find out whether the actors were actually Indigenous. When I learned that the show made a real effort to cast Indigenous actors and thoughtfully portray Native communities, it made me appreciate the series even more. The casting was phenomenal.
